Three Weeks In — And a Story That Made Us Smile

Dear FF Family,
Three weeks in, and Valkyrie's puppies are growing right before our eyes. “Perfect Size” is living up to his name — solid, confident, and already the first one on the move. His sister is right behind him in her own way: content, unhurried, and quietly getting bigger every day. Two very different puppies, two very good reasons to smile.

We also have a new video up on our YouTube channel, and it's one of our favorites yet. It starts sweet — a puppy cuddled up to Mom, about as wrapped around her paw as a pup can be — and then Valkyrie reminds everyone, gently, that some things are still hers. It's a quick, funny little window into what these first weeks actually look like.
A Full-Circle Kipper Story
One of the nicest things about this work is hearing from families years after their puppy comes home. A former Flood Farm family recently wrote in with an update on Kaiser and Vanya — two of Kipper's pups from earlier litters, adopted a few years apart by that same family. Watching a family come back to us more than once, and watching Kipper's line carry on in two dogs who now share a home, is exactly the kind of full-circle moment we hope for with every puppy we place.

It's exactly the kind of story that reminds us why we love this work — not just placing puppies, but watching those relationships grow long after the puppy comes home.
If you're still considering a Flood Farm puppy — for this litter or a future one — our applications remain open. Every application goes into our consideration pool, and Cindy takes her time matching each puppy to the right family.
We'll keep you posted as the puppies keep growing. Thank you for being part of this with us.
With love from the farm,
The Flood Farm Family
